Summary
Robots have been commonplace since WW1, especially fighter-class robots, commonly referred to as 'Steel Allies'. After all, what better way to fight a war than have something disposable fight for you? But due to their advanced programming, Steel Allies have a bad habit of becoming unstable. So they need a handler. Someone who can keep them in line. Especially the group of experimental and illegal robots known only as Avengers. Enter Phil Coulson, a former handler who did not ask to be the only man the Avengers would listen to. But what can you do?
