Summary
The Sages commit extreme acts of blasphemy even earlier than usual. Fortunately for Celestia, contingencies are written into the gnosis to deal with the situation.
Unfortunately for Alhaitham, these contingencies “deal with the situation” by making the whole mess his problem.

Summary
Grand Master Varka is not a strict commander. Not careless, certainly, but laid-back. To fulfill one's duty was more than enough to be in his good graces. But it's hard for those around him not to notice just how much he lets Vice-Captain Lohen get away with.
Or:
Snippets of a developing (and slightly controversial) relationship through the eyes of those watching it happen.

Summary
As he looks out in each direction, his heart sinks in his chest. The views are beautiful — a lush rainforest with a massive tree, a vast desert, frozen tundras, a great volcano spewing ash, a great plateau spilling water into the surrounding sea like an overflowing chalice, an archipelago off in the distance, mountain ranges and gorges that seemed to cut into the earth itself, and windswept rolling hills — but he recognizes none of it. After over thirty million recurrences, Phainon knew the lands of Amphoreus like the back of his hand a million times over. The views before him now did not match anything in his memories. And yet, there was a highly peculiar sense of familiarity akin to knowing that he'd seen it before but was utterly unable to recall any specific memory of it.
----
Phainon wakes up on the heavenly throne of Teyvat with no clue how he got there. His last memories are of confronting Nanook the Destruction. He recognizes nothing and yet sometimes there is a sense of familiarity with this new place and people that he can't explain.Bookmarked by Schatt

Summary
"That's an injured wild animal," Tighnari says flatly. Alhaitham of all people should appreciate the folly of trying to approach an apex predator when it's hurt.
"They're smart enough to know when someone is genuinely there to help and when they're not," Alhaitham explains slowly.
It reminds Tighnari of the morons who insist that wild animals will just feel their good vibes and not attack them, second only to the delusional fools who think they can take photos with them. Alhaitham is the last person Tighnari thought would spout such nonsense however, so he's stunned for the few seconds it takes Alhaitham to turn back to his task and walk right up to the tiger.

Alhaitham is the animal whisperer but just thinks everyone else is Bad At Animals and doesn't realise it's a him thing
