Summary
When Korra returns to the south pole to continue her recovery, Asami can’t let her go alone. Korra means too much to her, and after everything she suffered through at the hands of the Red Lotus, the least Asami can do is be there for her.
As grateful as Korra is, she knows Asami can’t help her. Asami has no idea how bad things are. No one does.
That’s a good thing, though. If no one else knows, and Korra doesn’t think about it, then maybe it’ll be like it never happened at all.
A story about learning to love yourself, even after bad things happen.

Summary
Riley Andersen has always been good at ruining her own life. College is her chance to change that, to leave behind the faults and failures of her adolescence and start anew as someone people will actually care about. The last time she left home to live on her own nearly ended in disaster, but Riley isn't that stupid little girl anymore. This time will be different. This time will be better.
She already has a head start with Valentina Ortiz, the closest friend she ever had, attending the same university. As long as Riley doesn't give Val any reasons to hate her, maybe reconnecting with her old best friend can be the start of a life that's actually worth living.

Before Valentina Ortiz left for college, she kissed her best friend Riley Andersen on the cheek and told her to keep in touch. She hoped the gesture would be the start of something special, so that the next time she returned home, something special may blossom into something real.
Then one day, Riley disappeared. No matter how many times Val called or texted, she never heard back, and even when she returned to San Francisco, everyone told her that Riley had quietly finished high school and moved away. Eventually Val had to assume the worst, but she never forgot about her best friend.
Five years later, forced by an injury to take time off from hockey, Val decides to settle in a small town in Minnesota, and maybe live some of the life she's been putting off in favor of her sport. She's not sure what she's looking for, until a chance encounter reunites her with the girl she never thought she'd see again.
Only, something's different about Riley. She's the same person, but she's not. Val doesn't care, though—she's determined to reconnect, and to not let this second chance at happiness slip away.

i keep telling myself it wasn’t that bad. that nothing bad happened. that you were just a nice guy, that maybe i overreacted. but then it plays in my head again and again. i should have said no. i should have done something. i should have fought or screamed or run. but i didn’t. i froze. i just let it happen. i hate that i made it so easy.
why me? why you?
was it something i wore? hoodies and jeans was that somehow too revealing? or maybe it was just me. me being there. me existing in the wrong place at the wrong time. maybe that’s all it took. maybe i made it happen just by being there. i saw the signs, didn’t i? i stayed. i stayed and smiled and pretended it was fine until it wasn’t. so how can it not be my fault?
i don’t even know who i am anymore. i keep looking in the mirror and wondering if anyone else can see it. the stain of it on me. i keep scrubbing, but it won’t come off. i keep thinking if i could just go back, just one second before it happened, i’d be braver this time. i’d say no. i’d scream. i’d stop you. but i didn’t. and i can’t. and now i have to live with this forever.

Catra stepped into the small clearing, eyes adjusting to the sudden shift. The Whispering Woods, for all their twisting, unsteady nature, had led her somewhere. The sky was visible through the trees now, moonlight casting long shadows over the grass.
And across from her—
Someone stood there.
Catra tensed, her body coiled, instincts screaming at her to be ready for anything.
The woman in front of her looked just as startled.
She was tall, standing rigid as if she had been walking only moments before and had been stopped just as abruptly as Catra had. Feathered wings framed her back, poised mid-motion, frozen.
Recognition clicked, sharp and sudden.

Summary
Most of Riley Andersen's secrets are locked away in The Vault, so that Riley, and only Riley, can know about them. But some secrets are so shameful they're kept somewhere else - far away in the back of the mind in a little town called Denial, where even Riley doesn't know about them.
One such secret is Valentina Ortiz. She has a plan to escape Denial and uncover a complex web of corruption in Riley's mind, and, in doing so, help Riley discover things about herself she has long repressed.
Opening old wounds is painful, but it may be the only way for Riley to uncover her own complex web of corruption out in the real world.
