Summary
After graduating high school, Steve and his brother Joe are given the news that they have inherited a house from their mom and dad. Upon being given the deed to the house, the brothers realize their parents seemingly forgot to disclose its location. The only clues given are "Big Hill" along with "the yellow house with a red roof" with the backyard having a "large apple tree with a tire swing". During a family reunion, Steve and Joe meet up with their grandmother who hands them a box with a blue pawprint on it. The boys open the box to discover a mysterious blue puppy who will be accompanying them on their adventure.
