“I could’ve believed you. I could’ve been your friend.”
Dongsik smiles, then.
“I wouldn’t have let you be. Don’t torture yourself, Joowon-ah. Not about this.”
Joonwon swallows. “I’m-”
“If you say you’re sorry again, I’ll throttle you. I forgive you, for the crime you believe you committed.”
Joowon doesn’t say anything for a long time. He just breathes. He listens to Dongsik breathe beside him.
“I love you.”
