Sam Wilson was a renowned and dangerously reckless scientist that worked solely with sea creatures that would otherwise be deemed as monsters. Because of the dangers it entailed, he knew how to keep things professional and avoided putting too much heart into his work.
But when he begins a new project of researching a certain merman monster, his professionalism struggles to remain. And it seems he is not the only one agonizing over this attachment as the merman begins to become fond of Sam as well.
Maybe things would've been easier if these two had never crossed paths with each other. Or maybe they were just destined to collide and fall in love until they eventually fall apart.

For as long as Bucky had known him, he’s rarely seen Sam get sick. He’s usually in tip-top shape and generally healthy. If he was being honest, he sometimes forgets that Sam isn’t like him. So imagine his surprise when Sam gets a head cold.
Sam had always tried his best to conceal his weaknesses whenever on the job. He didn't have time to think about it in the heat of the moment. When he's in his gear, he's no longer Sam Wilson.
