Kimizuki has been trying his best to care for his bed-ridden younger sister Mirai. Since he was old enough to work, he has been slaving away in the kitchen of the hospital his sister was living in. Expenses pile up and there seems to be no end in site - and Mirai is only getting worse. Just when things couldn't get any worse, Kimizuki comes across a strange and fragile green-eyed boy that he is convinced was born from a storm.
