Great idfic
I almost wish this was two different stories bc Shinsou is acting textbook abusive and I feel so bad for Denki. It's actually kind of a masterclass in emotional manipulation. But Denki's internalized biphobia and struggle with coming out is so raw and good. Between that and his anxiety bc of Shinsou's manipulations, I'm literally about to cry 😭 (edit: I'm crying) (edit edit: I'm sobbing) (edit edit edit: I've never sobbed this hard or this much for a fic before (except maybe 4LW)). I kinda wish his coming out story was decoupled from Shinsou's toxicity, so I could really root for them (edit: whoa, this isn't just id? The author's gonna handle the toxicity?! Damn, kudos!) (Like I know I goblinned for internalized homophobia smut, but goddamn! Break my heart)
Also, kudos for dealing with "Kaminari is always the butt of the joke." I don't think fics HAVE to portray the bakusquad dynamic that way, but knowing how easy it is to slip into that IRL (and knowing the fandom basically does that to Denki too), I think it's so valuable to be handling thatThere’s a certain level of commitment that comes with a third hookup. The first time is an experiment, to see if you like it. The second is to double check. The third is when you really get down to business
Mic: Just because people are mean to you or treat you a certain way doesn’t make them right. If you’ve tried to tell them that what they say hurts and they don’t listen to you, it’s okay to take a step back from the friendship. It’s okay to be cordial but not close with people who won’t respect your boundaries
At the same time, people make mistakes. Given some time, and perhaps when the feelings of frustration aren’t so fresh, perhaps you can talk about it with them again and tell them how you feel. I would hope that they’d be willing to listen to you, but they might not. If they don’t, then it’s okay to move on from some of those friendships and find people who do respect your boundariesDenki: How can I tell my friends what I want to tell them without them getting angry at me or misunderstanding? I love Todoroki's obliviousness. Like "ofc you must be picking up the egg convo again." The "rush of air through his nose"s that Denki equates to laughter. And Shinsou recognizing "Midoriya’s well-intentioned nosiness" in him <3
Great character work for Todo in ch.6. Could be helpful to ruminate on for characterizationI think Shinsou's opinion on Bakugo was fun. He's not his friend, but Shinsou respected the way Bakugo made sure the class would feel safe coming out. That was iconic btw

Summary
Nedzu tasks Aizawa Shouta to investigate some oddities amongst the staff at Aldera Middle School. However, due to said oddities amongst the staff, it's unwise to slip Shouta in as a transfer teacher. Thanks to a temporary physical age regression quirk, Shouta is primed to go undercover as a student at Aldera with two objects in mind: figure out the discrepancies in the staff and keep the only Quirkless student at Aldera, Midoriya Izuku, safe.
Deeply unimpressed at having to be fourteen again, even physically, Shouta finds an unexpected kinship with the kid. While he tries to keep Midoriya safe and solve the cast, Shouta ends up rediscovering some things along the way as well. Whether it's setting a bully on the path of redemption or reigniting his love of heroics, Midoriya Izuku and Aizawa Shouta are about to change each other's lives for the better.
