There are rules that most people tend to follow when socializing: look people in the eye when you're speaking to them, engage in small talk and try to read the room. Though some people aren't wired to understand these rules as well as other people, and that makes things much more challenging. Eulalie Allan Poe considers herself to be hard working and determined, in everything except for socializing. But, nowadays she finds herself trying a bit harder to show her face in public, and to her surprise it's due to the influence of her rival.
It's always easier to learn things when you have someone else by your side. Even if that person happens to know as much as you do.

A new organization called the Singularity has come to Yokohama, whose only goal is to be the only organization that employs skill users, and people have begun to notice. The first is Ranpo, whose mind has been waiting for a challenge, then Chuuya, whose loyalty refuses to falter, and then Sigma, whose ability has been used by others long enough. But even if the master detective, the loyal dog and the amnesiac casino manager have become aware, how do they plan to stop an organization as large and as threatening as The Singularity? Especially when someone has something in their possession that allows them to change the rules of the game with a few pen strokes? To kill a snake, you need to cut off its head.

One night, after a party at that they Guild had been throwing, Poe meets someone on the road who helps him get home while he's drunk. His name is apparently Nikolai, and he's a surprisingly good listener.
The next day he realizes how much he screwed up. So he decides to go find whoever he blabbed most of his secrets to and neutralize him.
However it's somewhat difficult to when he starts enjoying his company.
