Summary
There are moments throughout the day that Mirabel kinda just...stops.
Frozen in place, breathing so shallow it almost seems like she isn't breathing at all.
Sometimes her eyes widen as she stares at the last place she looked, unblinking.
Moments go by and she is silent, only for the silence to be broken with a sudden intake of breath and furiously rubbing her eyes.
She finds a solid item to rest against and she slowly comes back to herself.Or
Mirabel dissociates and after the events of the movie, her family finally notice.

Summary
The aftermath is quiet. When their feet touch back down to the Namsan Tower stage and the bright sunlight cast as they formed new honmoon fades away, night reclaiming Seoul, Rumi doesn't hear the thousands upon thousands of fans surrounding them. She doesn't hear much of anything. She doesn't feel much of anything. It's like her world has narrowed to her hands, and Zoey and Mira's hands clasped in them. But even that feels barely there. She's barely there.
They won. Now they have all the time in the world to pick up the pieces. And for Rumi to learn how to live a life that isn't just waiting to die.
UPDATE: it'll take a bit but we are in fact headed towards Polytrix before this fic ends cuz I NEED IT.

"Do you have any idea what it's like watching you drift further and further from us? Watching you turn yourself into something unrecognizable? Because I do. I've seen demons cling to human faces like masks. I've watched them mimic grief. Fear. Kindness."
"Mira." Zoey warns.
"And lately? When I look at you? I don't see the girl we grew up with and love."
Rumi's hands begin to shake. "...what do you see?" she whispers.
"A demon. I don't trust you. Not with me, not with Zoey, not with yourself. You're no different than any other demon we've come across. No different than Gwi-Ma."
There is a shocked silence.
Rumi face crumples, it reminds them of the way she begged just a few weeks ago. Begged them not to leave her. To love her. Things had been so good, she was selfish to think she could have this. To want this.
Her tone is flat and resigned. "Oh."-------
or Rumi tries to hide her full demon traits after the idol awards to protect Zoey and Mira from her, and out of fear that their new fragile relationship will break under the reveal. Mira lashes out in the worst way possible after she catches Rumi in yet another lie, and angst ensues.

When Rumi's patterns get revealed during a routine demon hunt, she doesn't wait for Mira and Zoey to kill her—she vanishes, ditching her electronics, bank accounts, anything that could be used to track her.
Now, having learned the truth from Celine, Mira and Zoey are desperate to find her and bring her home. But with no way to find her and the Honmoon tearing apart, they don't have many options.
Meanwhile, Rumi, desperate and starving, throws herself into demon fights in the hopes of doing one last good thing with her life. But, without access to any money, the only food she can find is souls...

Summary
