    The Yōkai weren't the ones to discover Mizuki was a double agent. The Hashimoto were-- and they did not permit traitors. After nearly dying to save the Yōkai he'd grown so attached to, Mizuki can only hope to find a place in the newly reborn Overwatch.

    Luckily, he's in good hands.

    6/14/26 edit: I have apparently been graced with prophetic abilities in regards to Overwatch so I have minor changes to add Shion into the mix. This was written before Facing Demons and Shions release but... damn I was close!
