After the war, Naruto and Hinata’s love bloomed softly—stolen glances in the rebuilt streets, gentle hand-holding by the river. It culminated in a single, desperate night. But one dawn brought cold absence. Hinata vanished without a trace, snatched from the Hyuuga compound like a ghost. Naruto tore the village apart searching, only to be met with tight-lipped silence from the Elders and averted eyes from his own friends.
Years have turned the sunniest Hokage into a hollow statue. Naruto sits in his office, the red hat heavy on a head bowed by grief. He still whispers her name—Hime—and flinches at the suffocating guilt that washes over every shinobi’s face when he does. They know something. They act as if speaking of her is a crime they all committed.
Even now Naruto Uzumaki thinks of his beloved hime ever single day. Drawing her portraits had become a past time for Naruto. He never thought he'd have loved someone so much and now as he did he wanted it to stop. Even Kurama, the grumpy old fox watched in concern.
Far away, in a village in the outskirts of the Land Of Water is Hinata with a baby boy. Who is he? And why does the child look like Naruto?

Summary
The smoke has cleared, the dead are back to life thanks to Nagato, and a new dawn breaks over Konoha. Naruto Uzumaki, the once-ostracized prankster, stands bathed in the jubilant cheers of the villagers he just saved. They hoist him high, a sea of smiles and gratitude, celebrating his incredible victory over Pain. He made Kakashi-sensei proud, he made Iruka-sensei weep with joy, and he is, finally, their undisputed hero.
Yet, as the shouts of "Naruto! Naruto! Naruto!" ring in his ears, a strange, cold knot tightens in his gut. He maintains a bright, unwavering smile, waving and laughing, but inside, a dissonant chord is struck.
"Why... why do I feel like this?" he thinks, the volume of the cheers making his internal voice echo.
"...I did it. I saved everyone. They're happy. I should be happy. "
"This is everything I ever wanted, isn't it? The cheering... the recognition... I've waited for this my whole life."
"So why does it taste like garbage dattebayo?....."
"Why do I feel so... UNSATISFIED?"

There are criss-crossing lines, holes, a burn mark, and several other lacerations from various fights. “The long scar on my chest? You gave me that,” and he laughs awkwardly. “A side glance of chidori got me good.”
Sasuke feels his world slow down until it’s just his slow heart thumping and Naruto, a sheepish smile on his face. “I did that to you?”
