“I have come to talk,” she stated. “ And listen.” John closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh as he slumped down onto a rock.
“Thank you,” he quietly said as she walked steadily over and sat down beside him. They sat together in silence for several long minutes, just watching the horizon.

Summary

This is a rewrite of my previous fic “The Wingleader – Xaden’s POV”. It’s a Fourth Wing retelling from Xaden’s POV with new Iron Flame updates. It follows the dialogue and chapter timeline from Fourth Wing with my own interpretations and theories of Xaden’s actions and feelings.
