Summary
In the wake of Taggie and Rupert’s kiss and Cameron and Tony’s fight, everything in Taggie’s life went to shit. The man she loved moved another woman into his home, her father needed more parenting than her younger sister, and Taggie was generally heartbroken and exhausted.
As Taggie hid away in the Priory kitchen making canapés, she took comfort in the fact that everyone seemed oblivious to her misery--with one tall, dark, and handsome exception.
Bas Baddingham, avowed bachelor and Rutshire’s most emotionally competent rake, had watched Taggie and his best friend circle each other for months. So when Cameron moved into Penscombe, Bas was unsurprised to see Taggie become a shell of her former self.
In an effort to do Taggie a good turn, Bas decides to take her to the annual Hunt Ball. And when she decides she fancies a casual fling, Bas is delighted–uncomplicated casual flings are his specialty, after all.
Unfortunately for both Bas and Taggie, love and casual flings will prove surprisingly complicated.

Summary
“E… Eddie,” Buck whispers.
“Y-yeah?” Eddie asks, chest heaving like he just ran a race.
Buck shifts up onto his elbows, meeting Eddie’s eyes. “Eddie. What- what are we doing here?”
Eddie’s eyes roam his face. "I don't know," he rasps. "I don't know, all I know is that you're driving me insane, Buck."Eddie gives Buck a medical massage; it finally pushes them over into what they've always meant to be.

Summary
Eddie clenches his jaw. When he looks at Buck again, his eyes are lit up with anger.
“Butt out, Buck. You're not his dad."
“You don't get to say that,” Buck replies harshly. “You don't get to come to me and tell me you put me in your will, and that you did it because you knew I'd fight your parents for Chris, and then get mad that I want to fight your parents for Chris.” Buck knows how to get angry too. Buck can fight too.
They can't both be the good cop.

Summary
It turns out that Eddie Diaz is a slut.
Now Buck is in no way slut-shaming anyone, he would never, not only because it’s completely unacceptable and people can do whatever the hell they want with their own bodies as long as everything is consensual, but because of the old saying and all - those in glass houses, yadda yadda.
Buck knows slutty, he was slutty, but Eddie’s slutty is a whole other kind of slutty, not like Buck’s, which was sad and lonely and done for reasons he’s needed a lot of therapy to come to terms with, but Eddie’s? Eddie’s is fun and happy and joyful sluttiness.
(or the one where Buck thinks he and Eddie are just friends with benefits so he pushes Eddie to date other people because he’s an idiot.)
