What remains of the population, emotionally suffering and sensing the Fleet-forbidden closeness between the two men, force Jim and Spock’s feelings for each other into a public experience to attempt to heal their own emotional wounds.

Spock looked down, and Jim looked down. Jim's cock was just visible beneath Spock's body, next to Jim’s hand, the head poking out red and swollen. Spock's cock on the other hand was arching free, large and curved and goddam gorgeous. Jim swallowed. The contrast between them was… it was…

Summary
The rest of the away party stared after Kirk in horror. But Spock did not care about the threats Kirk had made. His mind was fixated on one almost unbelievable fact: in a situation where nearly every other Imperial Starfleet Captain would have committed genocide, Captain Kirk had managed to subdue an entire planet without firing a shot.
Unexpectedly captivated by his new Captain, Spock slowly comes to realize that James Kirk is unlike anyone else in the Empire, and that he is dangerous for an entirely different reason than his bloodthirsty father was. A different take on mirror verse, stemming from the premise that without George Kirk alive in AOS!Mirror Verse, Jim becomes a very different person!
HUGE thanks to williamspockspeare for beta reading the first 3 chapters and for all her encouragement on this fic!! All mistakes are my own.
I’ll include warnings in relevant chapters, but a few to note: brief discussion of suicidal ideations, discussions of dub-con sex (NOT between Spock/Jim!), discussions of torture, references to mass murder in keeping with Star Trek Mirror Verse cannon.
