Summary
Zanka's palms pushed up from the floor, supporting his upper body weight, letting him stare daggers into the man’s skull. He watched as the other man fidgeted with one of the charms hanging off the main clock. It was a tiny hourglass, no bigger than a fingernail. Each stream of sand slipped past itself in a way that felt wrong, like time stuttering instead of flowing down.
He was going to show him. Show him what he could do against their genius.

Summary
None of the lights are on when he creaks open one of the big doors and walks in, only the windows casting long light and shadows in the room. It is dead quiet.
Just as Zanka is about to go to the kitchen to fetch himself a water, his eyes drift towards a corner and he freezes in place, his heart skipping a beat in surprise.
Because there, sitting at one of the tables farther into the room with light shining right next to him and making him more visible, is Rudo.

The night before the Doll Festival finds Zanka unable to sleep properly despite himself. When he goes down to the mess hall in the middle of the night to drink some water, he's surprised to see a familiar face. Him and Rudo share a late night talk to distract each other from their impending mission and the possibility of something more happening between them arises.

Summary
Driven by strategic curiosity and the need to understand the unique biological and spiritual traits of the Givers, the Hellguards organize an official (or rather, very tense) visit to the Cleaners' base. They are required to stay there indefinitely to more comfortably study how the Cleaners work with their Jinkis and as a team, hoping to learn from them.
English isn't my first language, but I know that more people in this part of the fandom might read this, lol. I'd also like to mention that this fanfic will feature a more maternal Zanka. Similarly, I'd like to say that Rudo sees Zanka as his "big brother" and Enjin as his second father.

Summary
A typical raid against the cleaners. A typical fight against Jabber and Zanka. However, when Jabber dislocates Zanka’s ankle in the freezing weather, the pain is overbearing and he falls unconscious. The two of them had broke and lost their chokers in the fight, buried under the rapid blizzard. Just as cold, Jabber takes them both to find a shelter for warmth until they can get back to their own headquarters. While surviving together, they learn more about each other and develop feelings that barely cross the line of obsession.
Or
Zanka and Jabber go to a cabin in a forest whilst a snow blizzard is actively happening. Then they fall in love as they learn to survive with each other.
