Summary
When C mentioned he originally wrote the rescue of Sad Eyes in the end of OC 5x02 to include M, my mind started spinning and it didn't stop until I started writing this. I wish SVU had given her those extra days of shooting, but since they suck, I guess this will have to suffice.

They stand, staring for a moment at the techs. She watches one start to shift the body. Olivia opens her mouth to stop them.
“Hey, hey. ”
The voice that cuts her off is loud; gruff. There is a hazy familiarity to it she can’t quite place, like staring at an actor in a movie she knows she knows. Angry, as it shouts:
“Are you guys fucking amateurs, you can’t let them — ”
She turns and stares into a pair of eyes she hasn’t seen in twenty-four years.
