Summary
Itadori Yuuji, whose only ambition is to pay the rent and find the next out-of-print volume for a client, sees his life explode when two detectives as brilliant as they are socially inept implicate him in a murder case he didn’t even witness.
The problem: the victim is a regular customer at the manga shop where he works, and some blurry photographs place Yuuji at the scene hours before the crime. His uncle, Nanami Kento, a straight-laced police officer on the verge of a nervous breakdown, makes a drastic decision: to protect him from the incompetence of his colleagues and a possible miscarriage of justice, he hires the best criminal lawyer he knows, Higuruma Hiromi.
Everything becomes even more chaotic when they decide to use Yuuji as undercover bait in the victim’s collector circles. Higuruma is forced to supervise the legality of every step, chaining himself to a boy with an excessively wide smile who seems to have a special talent for messing up everything he touches — including, perhaps, the miserable and meticulously ordered life of his lawyer.

Summary
Sukuna’s taken him to the couch, a bit annoyed at the dead weight in his arms.
“I guess you can’t hold your alcohol, huh?”
Yuuji purrs, leaning into him with his eyes closed. He’s definitely happy right now. Sukuna lays back, taking Yuuji with him and they lay like that for a while, the movie they were going to watch now forgotten.
Two alphas laying together like this is absurd but as Yuuji purrs, Sukuna realizes there’s nowhere else he’d rather be right now.
His teeth itch.
“Smells like peaches.”
Sukuna chalks it up to the sake but Yuuji freezes, tilting his head up from Sukuna’s chest with big eyes.
“Do you… like peaches?”
Or which, Yuuji and Sukuna hate each other's guts and that somehow opens the door for more.

Summary
For all 17 years of Yuuji's life, sukuna is the most significant yet insignificant aspect of Yuuji's life.
The man is almost a myth, an urban legend.
Yuuji has no real memory nor knowledge of his uncle. All of his knowledge is based on hushed whispers that his father and his grandpa share in secret. Yuuji doesn't know why, but even with the slight mention of sukuna his heart squeezes like he’s lacking something.

Summary
Yuuji is six years old when he has his first kiss.
He's in his- well, their bedroom. Dragging a toy car on the floor, making vroom noises to emulate the noise of a rumbling motor. Raspberries blow from his mouth, spit that flew from his lips catching the light.
There's the sound of a book closing, Sukuna had been reading on their matching starry blankets. A children's tale below his reading age, about rabbits and girls silly enough to fall down their holes.
"Yuuji." Sukuna had called his name, tone light and boyish, yet Sukuna always spoke like someone older than the person whose skin he wore. His twin, older only by a hair, tended to use big words that confused Yuuji. Rolling his eyes at Yuuji's evident confusion, a head tilt, eyebrows drawn together with a small "huh?"
Sukuna made sure to call Yuuji things like "stupid" and "idiot" but always took the time to explain the meaning, nodding his head approvingly when Yuuji chirped the words back, recounted the definition.
