His eyes traced over the smaller pink-haired boy with a shy smile across his face and bangs hiding his eyes. The older pink boy who had a smirk and a sinister glint in his eyes and the green-haired boy beside him his arm over his shoulders. His eyes had then seemed to draw the boy with glasses and a smirk across his face.

Summary
In sawamura’s last year of middle school, there’s a practice match for the first string of seido and they need a pitcher because Kawakami sprained his ankle and tanba a had a fever. Right before they were about to cancel the game Rei saw Sawamura at the batting cages hitting baseballs. Rei decides to go talk to him and she finds out he’s a pitcher. Sawamura plays for them and coach katoaka promises sawamura a place on the first string if he decides to go to seido.

Summary
Sawamura Eijun loves baseball, and has quite a bit of untapped potential, but he lacks confidence due to past experiences in middle school. Not to mention, he’s extremely hard of hearing, which makes communication more difficult. However, an offer to come to Seido still arrives, and suddenly he finds himself going to a school devoted to the sport he had decided he was done with.
Meanwhile, Miyuki Kazuya is great at baseball, but lacks some tact and understanding that would make him an effective leader off the field as well as on. Perhaps it’s just his personality, or perhaps it’s something deeper. Whatever the case, he doesn’t see a need to change, until he’s working with the new first year pitcher at Seido, Sawamura Eijun. Usually, working with a pitcher would be no sweat, even if he offended the player along the way, but there’s one catch: Sawamura Eijun is extremely hard of hearing, and— for some reason— is terrified of upperclassmen.
Or, an AU to Ace of the Diamond where both Sawamura and Miyuki are more traumatized, Sawamura is hard of hearing, and they learn and grow together.

“Crack.”That sound rings in Sawamura’s ears as a daily reminder of the catcher he lost. I couldn’t save him. I should’ve died.

“Player: Sawamura kun, would you accept this deal?”
“Huh? WHO ARE YOU?”
“I can bring you back in time.”
Driven by grief, Eijun accepts. Waking up in his first year body, he is just as loud, chaotic, and dramatic as Seidou expects. Except this time, his ridiculous outbursts are backed by an impossible, pro level mastery of the mound. Miyuki is instantly bewildered by this screaming underclassman who acts like an idiot but calls out advanced strategies and reads his signs perfectly. As Miyuki tries to understand the mystery behind his bizarre new pitcher, the clock keeps on getting louder.
(Or: A time travel fan fic where Eijun goes back to his first year to rewrite history and save Miyuki Kazuya, no matter how chaotic he has to be to do it.)
