Summary
Regulus Black was dead. He mysteriously drowned at the height of the war. Some claimed suicide, a guilt-ridden child with too much evil on his shoulders, others didn't care much. He was just one more Death Eater in a long list of others, good riddance. Though all of these theories were wrong; Regulus Black was alive and (for the most part) well.
or Regulus (somehow) lived through the cave and the inferi. Three years after his initial death he resurfaces to a select few individuals with a plan to defeat Voldemort and other hidden evils.

“Am I hard to read?” Mike asks, his tone harsh and his grip on Will’s wrist harsher, “I’m hard to read?”
How can you tell if someone has a crush on you when they're hard to read? Will had claimed. And it ticked Mike off because who else could he possibly be referring to? How many other hard to read people has he been in love with? No, scratch that, how many people has Will been in love with at all?
Mike has known him all his life.
And he has some nerve trying to paint Mike as the villain; as if he hasn't been sitting here with his chest open and his heart hanging on display for the better half of the past hour, begging Will to reciprocate even a fraction of how he feels for him.
or the one where byler finally talk without being interrupted. things get off to a rocky start, but between mike's candour and will's patience, i think they'll work this out just fine

Summary
It’s in the middle of scanning the last bottle of green tea that Itadori properly looks up. Eye contact with him is a physical, unexpected shock, a crunch of imaginary static snapping through Megumi and leaving his hands twitching at his sides.
"Hey." Itadori blinks, wide and earnest. "Do I know you from somewhere?"
The tea sloshes backwards in the bottle he’s holding. Megumi focuses on this until his vision steadies.
"No," he says. "I don’t think so."
In the aftermath, Itadori loses his memories instead of his life. Megumi grieves nonetheless.
