Lan Qiren immediately started to freak out.
“Wangji!! What is this??!! Have you gone mad??! The ribbon is sacred!! Only family and married spouse can touch it!! Untie it from him immediately!!” Lan Qiren shrieked, his voice sounding embarrassingly high-pitched from the sheer terror of the situation.
Lan Wangji didn’t seem to share his anxieties.
“We are married,” he explained.
“You’re not,” Lan Qiren insisted, on the verge of tears.

God this is a gold mine.
The main story is also HILARIOUS and great so I do recommend it but, this one shot of it is GOLD (not the atrocious gold ink Jin Zixuan used for his essay).
The amount of times I have laughed, snorted and cried laughing!!
HIGHLY recommend!!!!
