Suguru is smiling wide the blue light against his teeth stands out so much, it's all Satoru can focus on. He sees his smile part a little to say something,
"Satoru.." in a muffled whisper, muffled by the closeness to his lips, Satoru could feel Suguru's breath against his face.
Gojo doesn't say anything he just exhales a laugh, a nervous one that is, and continues to lean forward almost locking their kiss.
But, Geto paused.
His eyes opened wide and his face scrunched in confusion. His face still millimeters from Gojo's who's just as confused by his behavior.
"....did you...have KFC or something? Your breath...it smells a littleee..."
Gojo's heart just sank.

Why is he required to wear a tuxedo to the beach? Is the couple both mentally and physically not in a good place? Surely, they would have to be sadistic to ask their guests to wear this to the wedding.
Well, considering Geto’s own nature, it isn’t far-fetched that he’d go to that wedding wearing what the invitation told him to.

Summary
The situation is this: the two of them had been sent on a simple retrieval mission. A cursed weapon had been floating around a crowded neighborhood in Tokyo, and it was their job to collect it and bring it back to the college before it ended up in the hands of either an unsuspecting citizen or someone who wanted to use it to cause harm. That was it. They had been specifically instructed not to engage the person the weapon originally belonged to should they encounter them.
This clause of the mission was, of course, completely lost on Satoru, who, upon realizing the owner of the weapon had spotted them retrieving it from the alley she had placed it in, pointed and laughed at her while waving it above his head.
