Summary
In generations long gone, generals of the elements known as the Legendary Warriors rescued the Digital World from danger, bringing about a new era of peace and prosperity. However, such tranquility is shattered when Cherubimon, one of the three rulers of the Digital World, wages war against his comrades, Seraphimon and Ophanimon, sending the realm into chaos. Takuya Kanbara finds himself summoned from his Earth home of Shibuya to save the Digital World from Cherubimon’s tyranny. Alongside a group of other teenagers, Takuya discovers he is one of the reincarnations of the Legendary Warriors slated to return the Digital World to stability.
