Summary
"You've given me a response that alludes to no understanding of my intentions."
"Well I have to confirm whether you truly know who I am before you ask such crazy things. I need to know if you've lost your mind."
Wriothesley approaches the Chief Justice with a query he's never considered. Why would he have? Not only is he an abnormal man, but he is also more than a few hundred years old. Neuvillette is willing to admit there's still much he doesn't understand about humanity, like Innuendos or gluten allergies. Being pursued romantically by the Lord of the Fortress of Meropide was incomprehensible.
(Not to mention how detrimental their 'entanglement' would be for the prison's autonomy, and self-governance from Fontaine's legal system.)
But before any proclamations can be made, there's the matter of disappearing otters. Who has time for disregarding flirtatious advances, when endangered marine mammals are missing! As Neuvillette and Wriothesley investigate deeper, they fear something more sinister might be at play...
(Just for fun, I love both characters and wanted to write an au filled with firsts and lighthearted mysteries)

Summary
Agent Choi's been having strange dreams ever since his Junior disappeared. Both agents of Hyunmoo Team have been having trouble sleeping in the wake of Agent Grapes leaving without a trace, but the elder of the two can't shake the guilt of both knowing and wanting more...
Roe Deer, Grapes, Junior... whatever he was meant to call him now, in his dreams that didn't matter. In his dreams his sub-conscience dictated what he could see or do, what he could say and touch. None of it had any implication nor reflection of events in the real world... right?
Major spoilers, since it's up to date with translations from when I published this:)

Summary
Kim Soleum wakes up in the middle of the night with an uneasy feeling. This isn’t unusual for someone living in a world of ghost stories and elusive, anthropomorphized horrors… but nevertheless, he is surprised upon learning the source of his unease.
Braun provides much needed insight and words of comfort to his ‘good friend.’
(I wanted to slot a short story into the narrative in which the world offers Kim Soleum a rare, bittersweet thanks for his struggles:)

Summary
Bruce isn’t sure how to feel about Dick leaving home. It’s not like Grayson had left for good, but Batman spent the last decade with a Robin by his side, and now his home feels cold. He hasn’t exactly come to terms with losing a partner, let alone the presence of his son. When he took in the kid, he was young, reckless, and angry. Bruce was still angry, and though he and Dick are deeply bonded, he fears he directed too much anger at Night Wing. That explained the long Blüdhaven trips, constant quests with his band of misfits, and the frequently mentioned… Superman.
Clark isn’t sure how to feel about Richard Grayson sneaking up on him in Metropolis. It’s not like he dislikes the kid, but Superman is not a creature one simply sneaks up on. Like father, like son he supposed. The last year had been rough, putting it lightly. Though he established himself as a hero, his increasing influence had many cons. As the worst of humanity reveals itself, Clark struggles to reign in his anger. Amidst all that, Grayson comes calling for a story and adventure. Superman’s happy to provide in exchange for the company and sage advice of the kid’s elusive father… Batman.

Summary
It’s late.
Kaveh’s come to the boys home late into the night, but Alhaitham’s fast asleep. The Architect indulges himself with a slightly immoral hobby he’s picked up lately… it really isn’t as inappropriate as it sounds. He contemplates whether his pessimism and self-depreciation is doing more harm to himself, or someone he cares about.
The following morning Alhaitham is forced to come to terms with facts he wished he'd never have to face, but the cat's out of the bag. Both men are left to wonder, is the glass better half full? Or half empty? Would it be okay to lay everything out on display like this?
Inspired by @attic44s on TikTok, and frank oceans untitled snippet. “I read your diary every line, I want to drink your words like wine.” :)
