“You don’t?” he teases, biting playfully at Jonah’s wandering fingers. “Do you want a steak?”

Tarlos hosts a housewarming party in their new home, when Paul and Asha show up and they’re in the middle of a thing, TK & Carlos offer Asha some relationship advice; meanwhile Carlos has a moment of reflection on fatherhood, and Uncle Paul must come to Jonah’s rescue when he has an accident.

“He can play a little longer,” Carlos agrees. He lets the file slide from his lap onto the floor as he turns fully toward his husband. “He’s a good kid.”
The next day, Carlos is forced to question that statement when he finds the said "good kid" skipping school in a very compromising position. Now, Carlos and TK have to face a parental challenge, complete with a sex talk 2.0 that none of them are prepared for.

As TK is applying the gauze, Carlos flippantly asks, “Do you think God hates us?”
“We’re an interracial, interfaith gay couple that had a shit ton of pre-marital sex,” TK answers, leaning down to press a kiss on the wrapped up wound. “So according to most Evangelicals, yeah, he does.” He lowers the tank top so Carlos knows he’s done.
“It’s just,” Carlos sounds carnally exhausted as he begins buttoning up his shirt. He turns and looks up at TK, “How has something gone wrong every time we’ve tried to have sex this week?”
“Uh huh,” TK rallies with a wayward grin. “So is thinking God’s a cock block a Catholic belief, or a you thing?”
