Summary
In his early days as a slave, Aventurine was subjected to neuro-reprogramming that, when activated, makes him mindlessly obedient. Thankfully, the program was scrapped, and it’s been over a decade since he’s even seen someone who knows the key phrase – but Aventurine’s luck runs out while he’s crashing Ratio’s vacation.
Naturally, Ratio is not content to let some bottom feeding slaver make off with one of his few friends. Offering further assistance, however, leads to unforeseen consequences - because as Ratio begins researching Aventurine’s condition and searching for a way to free him from it, their feelings for one another begin to change. The legendary ninjas disappeared while trying to stop the merge. After years with no sign or so much as a whisper from the ninja, Arin had mostly given up hope of ever seeing his childhood heroes again. That was until he and Sora were captured by Imperium while trying to save a baby dragon.
Or… What if Riyu was not the only one trapped by Imperium in season 1 episode 1 of Dragons Rising? And what if Lloyd wasn’t there to save Arin and Sora from their claws?
Or… Lloyd is captured by Imperium to be used as their new power source. Because of this, he is not there to save Arin and Sora in the first episode.

It wasn't exactly how Izuku had seen his day going. He could honestly say that killing the No. 2 Pro Hero had not been part of his life plan. Well, what was done was done. Accidents happened, and his accomplices in both the murder, as well as the cover up thereof, were actually very nice people, so really he couldn't complain. That Endeavor's son was one of them, they were all future classmates in UA's hero course and that the accidental killings just kept piling up when no one else seemed to have similar issues were all minor details really. After the fourth time it happens, though, they decide that they should probably get that under control before they ended up full time Pros. Or in Tartarus. Maybe becoming quirkless vigilantes would help?
