Summary
In a world where one can develop a certain set of abilities tied to the role they naturally gravitate towards when intimate with someone, Yoongi has no idea what his powers are. He repeats the same lie his parents told him to, that he doesn't have any. He lied about his classification when signing to a company in hopes of making his dreams in music a reality.
He thought he could survive while hiding, but one night showed him that his parents were right about how his status would affect his life. Now, he carries two secrets with him, two secrets full of shame, guilt and a shattered view of himself. He knows how the world works, his bandmates wouldn't look at him the same, no one would respect him. But... what if they're different? What if his parents are wrong and they would care for him the way he craves? Still, he can't take that risk.

Summary
Yoongi is not looking for love. If anything, he's doing his very best to avoid it at all costs (including literally running away from handsome strangers the second their backs are turned).
When he gets the first letter, he assumes it's just some sort of mistake. There's no way it could be for him. He's not the kind of person that people write anonymous love letters to - but they keep showing up at his apartment, and it becomes clear that the writer is watching him more closely than he ever would have guessed.
It should probably be frightening, but Yoongi can't quite bring himself to be afraid. Instead, he's plagued by a desire that grows stronger by the day, and the steady pull of a longing he thought he'd shoved away entirely.
