When Elliott goes for a walk in the forest for inspiration and encounters a Junimo on his journey, the day immediately goes from "casual constitutional" to "inspired by Alice in Wonderland," when he is guided to a strange tower in the woods. There, he finds more than just inspiration, as he and the tower's inhabitant find in each other an unlikely companionship, and that which the other was missing.

Magic has been restored to the valley, as it was before it had been locked away, and Lysander has fully recovered from the injuries that he suffered during the conflict. He and his friends have earned their Happily Ever After, and continue to find musical success as the Elements of Sound. So when an old lover of his shows up unexpectedly, who has just moved back to the home where he grew up there in town, everyone is surprised but excited to see their old friend, and to learn of the shared history between the two men. Rekindling their old friendship, and then the physical connection, Lysander couldn't be more grateful for everything and everyone in his life

Even if the pasts from which both he and Sterling are still trying to run are catching up to them both, and it will take all of the love and companionship that they have made with their friends and partners for them to survive what it was that set them on their respective paths, both recently and so long ago(Tags will change as the story updates)

Summary
It had always been his dream to eventually return to Pelican Town after spending his summers there as a child, but when Mallory inherits his grandparents' old farm he is surprised by just how much the town— and more importantly the people in it— have changed. Alex had been his best friend once, but now he was seemingly too busy and too cool for his old friend. Mallory threw away the life he had been building in order to come back home, but nothing is as he remembered it to be. His heart aches for the fleeting happiness of his past, and to forge a new future for himself— with any luck, a future that includes Alex by his side.

Aymeric had long known he would die at his calling, with the sense of one who was attuned to the spirits and fully at peace with his fate. He was young yet, though. He had not faced much more than a few possessions, and lingering ghosts who had needed more comfort than chastisement to leave in peace.
He knew someday he would face far more. He was not afraid.
