Alec calls out, voice a little shakier than he'd like as the door swings shut behind him, effectively trapping him in the living room with all of those nasty creatures that he desperately hopes are fake. But fake or not, his anxiety didn't care. His palms are already slick with sweat and his heart is trying to beat out of his chest.

    The entire ceiling looks like a demonic galaxy made out of white cotton candy and arachnids.
