Summary
Steve pulls up to just outside the garage door, then cuts the engine.
He turns in his seat.
“Eddie.”
He startles, a visibly painful jerk, and his eyes snap to Steve. Steve meets them steadily, trying to project calm. Eddie’s gaze do linger on him for a moment, before he looks around. The house towers above them, dark and empty. Eddie frowns, plainly confused, then glances to Steve and-
Realization dawns, then it’s quickly followed by anger and… hurt? The first quickly eclipses the latter, and Eddie flings open the car door.
“See you around, I guess, Harrington,” he spits, beginning to limp away.
Steve is so startled that it takes him a moment to get his bearings.
“Hey!” he calls, scrambling out of the car. “Hey! Where are you going?! You can barely even walk!”
“Home,” Eddie snaps. “And I’m walking because apparently I’m the only one who doesn’t deserve a fucking ride.”
“Oh, for the love of-,” Steve mutters, then runs the couple of hobbled steps that Eddie has managed to put between them, grabbing his arm to spin him around.
“Your home is half portal, idiot,” Steve says. “You’re staying with me.”- Language:

Summary
Gen could understand that he was possibly a bit obsessed with Senku. The scientist’s mind was so fascinating, and after Gen had felt like he had conquered the mind of every single one of the Ishigami villagers, of the ex Tsukasa’s Empire’s members and also of the kingdom of science newcomers, only the scientist remained standing.
What were his motives? Was it only the love for science fuelling him? Was he really so high above human emotions, never getting overwhelmed by them, or was his just a carefully crafted mask?
Point was, Gen really wanted to unravel the complex puzzle that was Ishigami Senku. It was academic interest, you could say.

During Gen's self assigned mission to understand the wonders of Senku's mind, he finds the perfect opportunity for some self reflection and has some quite interesting revelations.

Summary
Finding a way across South America would have been treacherous enough without a world-class sniper on the tail of Senku and crew, but who would have thought the greater source of tension was already festering among the group? Gen returned from infiltrating Xeno’s stronghold only to learn that Senku has a brand-new girlfriend and while he wants to be supportive, he also feels a little cheated after putting years and years into softening that scientific exterior. Under such stressful conditions, can Gen keep up the act of a supportive wise general? Or will he give in to petty jealousy? And just what does having a girlfriend mean to Senku, anyway?
