Summary
It's been 2 years and Portorosso has changed for the better. The town is slowly rebuilding its history from being run by hate to instead be run by love. Sea monsters now freely go to Portorosso and they live their lives with a peace that they had forgotten long ago. However, there is one little sea monster that is currently not at peace and his name is Alberto Scorfano. Last year he had realized that his feelings for his best friend, Luca Paguro, no longer felt platonic. He isn't sure they ever were platonic in the first place. Now it's a new year and Luca is coming back to spend the entire summer with him. And frankly Alberto is not good at hiding these things. Lucky for him though Luca is denser than risotto left out overnight. However little does Alberto know, his best friend might share the same feelings for him. A lot of hijinks then follow causing these teenagers to have one hell of a summer.
