    Narumi almost broke his cover right there, barely biting back an indignant shot because it was him who woke up at the goddamn early hours to travel to Tachikawa and sneak into Hoshina’s room to give him whatever this ‘princess treatment’ thing Shinonome was talking about. Not only did his efforts go unnoticed, but the freaking ice boy just had to take credit for it.

    In the Meireki Era, the Shinomiya and Hoshina families come to a decision: a marriage to unite the country's two strongest kaiju extermination forces. The risks for both families are low: a second son and an adopted charge. While assets themselves in terms of combat ability, they were not the heir and not a blood relation. A win-win situation.

    Except for the people getting married against their will, of course.

    Still, both Sōshirō and Gen will have to swallow their protests as this outcome has already been foretold by the stars. And maybe fall in love along the way.
