Summary
This is a reimagining of "Chamber of Secrets"—faithful to the bones of J.K.R.’s original plot but rewritten with deeper psychological insight, sharper emotional realism, and a keener awareness of trauma, isolation, and identity. This project continues where Philosopher’s Stone (Revisited) left off, following Harry through his second year at Hogwarts, where the danger is subtler, the magic stranger, and the cracks in the world—and in Harry himself—have begun to show.
Why revisit this book? "Chamber of Secrets" is often treated as a transitional novel: darker than the first, but still just a step toward the grander narrative. But at its heart, it’s a ghost story. A diary. A horror. And it’s the year Harry begins to realise that being “the Boy Who Lived” doesn’t protect him from being unseen, unheard, or unwell. This version leans into that. Into what it feels like to be a child waiting for rescue that may never come.
If you’re new here, don’t expect a wholesale reinvention of canon—this is still the story of Harry Potter. But it’s a version where emotions linger longer, cruelty cuts deeper, and magic doesn’t always fix what’s broken.

Summary
In a decaying post-information-age San Francisco, two cops are tasked with investigating a young woman found murdered on a transit platform. The case will take them from obscure fiefdoms of offshore data pirates to the halls of the power elite, pulling at the one loose thread connecting a series of brutal killings to the grotesque lie binding the metaverse and the meatverse together at their cores.
From a rough, unpublished novella idea I wrote (and lost!) in the mid/late 1980s. Inspiration clearly credited to William Gibson, George Alec Effinger, and Ridley Scott/Philip K Dick.
Work in progress, no beta reader. Please comment profusely!

Summary
After a painful breakup, Harry Potter just wants to forget. Luna Lovegood just wants to move on. One night of questionable decisions, a lot of alcohol, and an impulsive invitation later, they end up on a trip across Europe.
The plan is simple: forget their exes and stay friends — but plans rarely survive a trip, especially when both pretend that night at the bar never happened — the one where they ended up drunk and naked.
Now they have a clear rule: no sex. Easy… right?

Summary
In the aftermath of the wizarding war, Harry Potter's world shatters when tragedy steals everything he thought would be his future. Consumed by grief and isolation, he retreats to the dark halls of Grimmauld Place, a prisoner of his own pain and guilt. But darkness has a way of finding light, even in the most unexpected places.
Enter Luna Lovegood—ethereal, resilient, and the last person Harry expects to breach his emotional fortress. As Harry delves into forbidden magic and struggles with his inner demons, Luna becomes his unexpected anchor, offering a connection that defies all conventional understanding.
A tale of healing, transformation, and unlikely bonds, this story reimagines the aftermath of war through a lens of raw emotion and magical possibility. When the lines between light and dark magic blur, and friendships emerge from the most unexpected wreckage, Harry must confront the greatest battle of all—finding himself in the shadows of what was lost.
Some wounds can only be healed by those who truly understand the depths of pain—and the power of unexpected love.
Mature themes. Not your typical post-war narrative.Bookmarked by ReverendKilljoy
