Summary
Mal and Ben have been engaged for a few years. After university, Mal decides to return to the Isle to help the place she used to live thrive. This means leaving behind her busy King of a fiancé and communicating for months through video call almost exclusively. But it's time for her to head back, so that they can finally get married, and she can officially claim her place on the throne beside Ben.
But there is something that she can't shake. While they've built a steady relationship, Ben has never shown much interest in her physically. Mal can't take the distance anymore, and Evie is fed up with her sighing, so she is going to figure out what's wrong and if there even is a relationship to go back to.
Little do they know, they are about to have a whole lot more to contend with than relationship problems.
