"Waiting was one of Rowan’s least favorite things to do. He did not have the patience to be able to sit and be proper or whatever adults wanted him to do. So, when he was forced to sit through dozens of meetings with possible foster parents? He hated it. Combined with the fact he didn't want to leave Atlas “Mother” made him seem like the worst candidate in the world to be adopted or foster. Those two factors made everything in his life worse in general."
