Luffy pushed through the heavy blanket of exhaustion, gaining some energy to shout in their faces. “We need to leave!” Ace and Sabo visibly grew confused at that, Ace looking irritated, whilst Sabo grew contemplative, drawing closer to Luffy.
Sabo grabbed Luffy by his shoulders. “What do you mean ‘we need to leave?'”
Luffy’s eyes glazed, tears beginning to pool over. Desperation plastered over his face as his voice, sharp like metal, reverberated in the ears of Ace and Sabo. “They are going to destroy Dawn!”

The World Government finds out that Luffy is the son of the Leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon. Following the torment of a buster call on Luffy's home, Dawn Island, he and his brothers fight to survive the seas on their own while also trying to evade being caught.

Summary
The boys had had enough of Garp. He wanted to take them with him to the Marines for good on his next visit, which they obviously couldn't allow. So they had to escape. But that wasn't all; on the first island they stopped at, Luffy found something interesting. With it, they made the Marines' lives a living hell and made the pirates laugh.

Summary
The path towards the sun, towards freedom, is not an easy path. Ace, Sabo and Luffy, three brothers with dreams of seeking such freedom, know this better than anyone. Five years on, and it almost seems hopeless. But perhaps a few helping hands, and an old pirate's offer, can give them everything the world had tried so hard to take away.

I turn around, and slam my forehead into the deck as I fall to my knees. “Please, god, I know the last time we talked I told you to suck an egg but what the actual fuck. What did I do? Is this because of the gay thing? I’ll stop I swear I’ll knock it off just please—”
“What are you talking about? Why were you swimming all the way out here? What’s with your weird clothes?” The Boy, whom I refuse to name on principle, starts rapid fire shooting out questions while wiggling his way across the tiny boat to me.
“This is actually happening. Oh my god this is real, what the shit…” I turn around from my position on the floor to see The Boy crouched inches from my face. I give an undignified yelp and scramble as far back as I can without tipping over the edge.
He gives me that bright grin and announces “I’m Monkey D. Luffy! I’m gonna be King of the Pirates!” Then he cocks his head to the side. “Who’re you?”
