It was dark but that was okay, H’zashi had better vision in the dark to begin with.
He can hear some noise coming down the hall from his cell. They seem a bit rowdier than normal as they get closer. H’zashi gets ready to at least try and put up a fight, maybe they’ll underestimate him this cycle with only sending one guard in this time. He was slowly gearing up to fling himself at his door but stopped when he noticed the conversation he was hearing.

The room goes quiet, and they stare with wide eyes at the sixteen year old as he inhales ruggedly, trying to calm himself. “There’s no use bitching about this. It’s clearly happening. All we can do now is sit and wait until Lady Magic shows herself.” Harry says, glaring at anyone that dares open their mouths to protest.

Percy survived his first year at Camp Half-Blood, and made many friends along the way, though one tried to kill him at the end of the summer.
Now he needs to brave the realities of undersea politics, handle a custody dispute, and deal with land school all at the same time. Camp's barriers weakening after the winter solstice and a new activities director being pulled in did not make his summer session any calmer.
Why can't he just have one normal year on land? Makes him wish for Kym's storm-making lessons.

Percy was at least happy that this wasn't a prophecy. Stealing back some demigod weapons from a mortal? Sure, Iron Man was a superhero and a genius, but after dealing with Gaea, that was nothing. And potentially land Leo a job, while they're at it.
