Summary
Showing that hextech worked, and the subsequent debate with the Council, was exhausting. More than that, it wore out Viktor's lungs, meaning that he needed to get himself some medicine from the undercity. Unfortunately, witnessing a hextech blue explosion means his plans for the future irrevocably change.
Two hextech partners become three hextech partners, as Powder latches onto Viktor instead of Silco.
But Silco didn't make Jinx -Vi did. It's already too late for Powder, and Jinx will take her pain out on Piltover, the undercity, and anyone else she wants to.
She has friends, though, and family -people who care for her. In time, it may be enough to heal her . . . at least a little. There will be a happy ending to the sad story of sisters and sister cities.

Summary
Inej Ghafa escaped the slavers who kidnapped her and fought her way up through the Ketterdam gangs to become the Wraith, the feared leader of the Dregs. Kaz Brekker was not so lucky and has been the Kerch crow at Tante Heleen's Menagerie for the last five years. When a spot of pickpocketing leads to a chance meeting, Inej realizes she could have found the crew member she's needed all along. She just needs to get Kaz out of his indenture and Tante Heleen won't let him go without a fight. To make matters even tougher, Kaz won't leave behind the other Kerch crow at the Menagerie - Wylan Van Eck.
I was inspired by both 'Fool Me Twice' by Corantien and 'We are not mountains' by flourescent_adolescent both of which are AU - Character Swaps of Inej and Kaz and are so damn good. Got me thinking there's not enough of these on here, so I wrote my own.
FYI - Inej still defies the laws of physics and gravity and Kaz still has the limp. Kaz has a slight touch aversion but Tante Heleen has almost successfully beaten it out of him now and it's more to do with just not having a choice in who touches him. Also I really wanted to add more Wylan whump to my other SOC fic and there just wasn't the space, but there is now!
