Summary
Arthur Morgan has never been one to make good decisions. The woman tethered to a tree on the fringes of camp is just another example of that. She'd come for his bounty, and now she was another in a long line of headaches. If he had to deal with her again, it would be too soon. Yet, a night of the gang celebrating and whiskey on the tongue has a way of blurring lines. He may have had his fill of the party, but he quickly finds himself with a different sort of hunger. It's the kind that he knows can only be satiated with either a fight or a fuck - or better yet, both.
A power clash between two immovable forces; what gives when losing feels so good?
Can be read either as a stand-alone or as occurring in-between chapters 4 and 5 of Red Dead Pursuit. Mind the tags.

Summary
The year is 2019 in Wyoming. The gang runs a bar, Dutch’s Place, and uses it to launder money. Arthur has strayed from the gang and works as a tattoo artist. It hasn’t been easy, but the transition has been made smoother with the constant steadying presence of Arthur’s partner in romance and crime, Nathalie. Tensions run high one night at Dutch’s Place and things come to a climax.

“Of course I’d come, Kitten.” His own grin faded a little as his eyes searched yours. The brightness of them rivalled the sky - so blue they almost burned. You were putty in that gaze. One of his rough hands cupped your chin gently. His thumb traced a burning pattern along your jaw. Achingly slowly he lent forward. A big finger pulled your chin up, and you found you were already leaning forward in expectation.
His lips were firm and insistent. Demanding. It was a deliciously demanding kiss. When his mouth parted against yours you welcomed his tongue eagerly, fisting your hands into his collar and arching against him. Arthur’s breath tasted of tobacco, mint, and a hint of coffee. You swallowed the little sigh he gave as you clenched him closer, but before you could enmesh your fingers in his hair, he was pulling away.
Your breath tangled together as you clung to one another, both breathing hard. Arthur gently bumped his nose against yours, tracing the shape of your face while he caught his breath. After a moment he smiled.
“Ain’t nothin’ could keep me away from you.”
