Summary
In the world of Avatar men and women fight and die in a war that's lasted for over a century. The Avatar has disappeared and the Fire Nation takes more and more territory every year. Although there's a happy ending in the original series it was purely an accident that Katara and Sokka found Aang when they did.
How drastically would things chage if Katara was kidnapped on the day her mother died?
This is an alternate universe series of AtLA written in a fashion that was inspired by the surprisingly mature Kyoshi novels but with my own flare added.
