Yeah, not even close.
(Canon-compliant, insofar as interpolating an entire new plotline and spinning the perspective can be considered "compliance".)

Masterful. Lulls with Barista! Coffee shop! trope. I re-read immediately. Character insights that are revising my head canon. Phrases to carry, like “… Arthur’s worked hard to caulk and seal the places where he tends to be porous to other people’s moods….”
