Summary
Nathaniel Wessinksi can't go back to the Nest.
But he can't stay with the foxes either.With Riko trying to get Neil back to the Ravens, and back under his thumb, Neil is left with three options. Going back to the Ravens and dying, staying with the Foxes and dying- or running far, far away.
But Andrew had promised Kevin and Jean to protect him. Annoyingly, Neil- the kleiner Hase- is making it increasingly more and more difficult with each passing hour.
TLDR: Neil makes a promise to Ichirou that Kevin, Jean, and himself are better investments if they play with the Foxes than with the Ravens. But with time running out and Andrew stopping every one of his escape plans, Neil has until the end of the championships to convince himself and Ichirou he's better off alive.
DISCLAIMER: this fic is very heavily influenced by Die Free or Die a Failure by Mickey_99 (if you haven't read this fic, it's amazing!) and The Sunshine Court (where Raven Neil goes through the same healing process as Jean.)

Shane grinned as he pulled up to his Montreal home to see a familiar orange Porsche 718 Cayman sitting in the driveway. Ilya was already here. It had been an exhausting day filled with an endorsement shoot, a live local news spot, and the last team practice before the bye week. He slammed his Jeep into park and practically landed flat on his face in his haste to get out of the car. The moment he shoved the front door open, he found himself pressed into the entranceway wall with a mouth devouring his own.
When they finally parted, Shane was completely breathless and grinning deviously, “Hello to you, too.”
“You’re a fucking brat,” Ilya practically snarled, gripping Shane’s chin tightly in one hand while the other kept Shane’s hips pinned to the wall.
Or Shane knows exactly how to push Ilya's buttons to get exactly what he has been craving after two weeks apart.

Shane was sprawled out on the warm wood of the dock, enjoying the midday sun. He cupped a hand over his eyes and turned his head to the side. “Have you ever heard of primal play?”
A chorus of sputtering and coughing rang out from his boyfriend, who was propped up on one elbow with a Coke can at his lips. Shane smiled smugly as he watched soda spurt from Ilya’s nose and mouth. He definitely hadn’t purposefully timed the question. Ilya thumped his chest firmly with his fist and wiped at his nose before turning to Shane with a frown.
“What?” He asked, his voice scratchy from choking.
“Primal play. Have you heard of it?” Shane replied, shrugging his shoulders as if he hadn’t been stressing over having this conversation for a solid week.
Or: Shane woke up with the itch to brat and a new kink to try out. Unfortunately, Ilya has a virtual interview with an Ottawa news outlet. Not to worry, though, Shane will show Ilya exactly what he's missing out on.
Featuring: Shane being a brat, Ilya barely holding it together on a Zoom call, a chase through the woods, and an intense punishment.
