Summary
She knew she was asleep, but this looked like a memory. She was just a watcher, a listener. It was as if she had wandered into a pensive.
She walked around the vaguely familiar room. She has been here before.
A small girl, who had beautiful curly onyx hair, longer than a four year olds should have, half of it covering her face. She was sleeping soundly before startling awake from a loud bang somewhere else in the house. She was so curious she sat up rubbing her grey eyes before climbing out of the bed. Suddenly the nursery door was blown off its hinges. A man with mid length dark hair, pale white skin, and a long crooked nose, came barreling in and looked right at the child. Somewhere in the house a voice she recognized but couldn't place screamed.
"No! You can't take her! Please! No one knows she's his! Please!" The woman begged.
"I'm sorry. I must do as instructed."
"I am not a secret to be kept. I am the heir to Slytherin." The child said
"As of today you will not be. You do not understand. One day, when you are older, you will. You will understand everything. Alas, for now-" he sighed and grabbed the child by the arm and raised his wand to her temple. "claudere memoriam."
