Summary
A mysterious, stubborn virus infiltrates Caine's systems, forcing him to utilize some rather desperate measures in a reckless attempt to keep the circus, and himself, online. He attempts to fix it, ends up somewhat successful, and pretends like everything is fine as a result. See? He's not dying! He can handle this just fine on his own. He didn't need Kinger, or anyone for that matter, rummaging around in his delicate code.
That is, until he wakes up one day covered in digital blood, surrounded by the mutilated bodies of his favorite humans.

1: Caine is having glitches and not feeling great, and the adventures keep randomly going wrong. He goes to investigate his code and finds fernius bug, tries to overwhelm it but it doesn't work and then he gets locked out of his own code
2: Bubble points out that he's bleeding from the chest, so Caine bandages it (can't fix it bc he's locked out of his code). Realises that it's 11pm and the humans are sleeping anyway, so he exhaustedly goes to sleep. Wakes to the doubt of humans calling for him (they're upset he didn't show up to give them their terribly adventure pancake breakfast apology) but he has a fever and feels like shit. Starts to go monster mode and gives in and passes out from the pain3: Gang is like where's Caine then the circus glitches and the lights go out and there's creepy monster noises. Everyone runs and Caine-monster kills Ragatha. Gang runs to the bedroom but Caine-monster catches Jax and starts ripping his face off
4: Caine-monster munches Jax and Kinger conjures a gun and shoots Cmonster. Kinger recognises it's Caine but he attacks and kills Pomni and Kinger. Caine wakes up and is like omg wtf happened I feel like shit and Pomnis head is missing and there's blood everywhere so he fixes the humans and teleports away before they wake up -

Grant is kinda scared, Scott is good at first then is like NO UR A MACHINE I'M GONNA SELL YOU FOR WAR, and Imani is just a queen. Caine refuses to do war (the deal falls through anyway) and asks Grant for more storage to make something that will 'make everyone happy'🤨😬

- Caine is chained and muzzled by Abel and then adopted by the humans (after running away first then getting beat up by Jax)
- Gets periodically kidnapped and tortured by Abel (cut up his back, chopped two arms off)
- Caine gives himself up to Abel to save the humans when he comes to the room again
- Abel messes up his hands when he realises Caine has been communicating through writing
- They get into the code and try to delete Abel, but it takes 24 hours
- During the 24 hours of survival Abel RIPS OUT CAINES TOUNGE AND VOCAL CORD AND THEN HUGS HIM SO HARD HE CRUSHES HIM and the gang gets tortured for hours and nearly abstracts
- They’re saved by the deletion timer but Abel rips open Caines chest so he dies as well
- The gang end up in the void so they just walk for ages until they find the recycling bins and let Caine out
- Caine summons some stuff so the humans don’t abstract in the void
- Pomni gives him a plush bee🥹14: Caine wakes up and is like I HAVE TO FIX THE CIRCUS OR THE HUMANS AREN’T GOING TO LOVE ME ANYMORE so he writes a message on the floor in his blood. But hes so dead that he just passes out after a bit of circus fixing and the gang panic and go find him. He keeps trying to fox the circus when he wakes up but they convince him to rest at the couches
15: Caine falls asleep so Kinger conjures a computer and starts fixing his code (voice) but Caine wakes up and is really freaked out and they’re like oh yeah maybe that was really messed up to do without your consent… Caine hesitantly accepts the humans advice to have boundaries16: Jax gets Caine coffee bc he can't sleep. When Kinger wakes up they go off to fix the circus together, but Caine freaks out bc Kinger can fix the circus so they don't even need him, but Kinger is like no bro we love you
17: Caine passes out from working too hard and then when he wakes up Jax orders him to stop freaking out (and we can all guess how that goes). Kinger points out to gang that they have to take the admin powers from locked-up Abel and can't give them back to Caine yet. Gang discovers their old rooms which are empty
18: Caine, Jax, Zooble & Gangle go to decorate their rooms but Caine gets locked in his (a white box) and when they realise and find him the walls are clawed with blood and he's biting his arm

They don't find out how far he'll go until it's too late.
