Summary
A single hand, grey and bloodied, gripped the edge, nails digging into the floor. It scraped harshly against the flat metal, making a shrill noise as your heart skipped a beat from something that was poorly defined, but with a definite undercurrent of fear and confusion.
A moment later, Victor’s head joined the hand. His bloodied and tousled hair framed a crazed smile on his face, backlit by a fluorescent light higher up that hadn’t been knocked out by debris or bullets.
And then another head joined the first.
