Following the Finale, some things have been left unresolved. Zooble isn't happy with their body, and now that Caine is willing to listen, maybe they can come to a compromise.
The group's next adventure takes place in a simulation of the real world, or something like it. In the process of correcting the characters' codes to reflect their human avatars, some other code has been corrected.
They will all have to face people they thought they would never see again.

**ENTIRELY EPISODE 9/THE LAST ACT SPOILER BASED, DO NOT READ PAST THIS PLEASE IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS**Pomni has been grieving for the past few months, having almost abstracted with Jax. She now has to deal with the grief of losing him while he is back, in front of her, and none the wiser about how much she knows about him and about how he saw them.
The remaining members try to navigate life with the prospect that they are now here forever, creating barriers between themselves and their outside personalities. Caine tries to figure out how far he can push his new ability of 'raising the dead', still reeling from losing the powers Abel had provided and attempting to quell his own ego while catering to the members as promised.

Pomni and Jax haven't spoken since their fight a week ago. She is tired of them avoiding each other.
When her initial talk with him doesn’t go as planned, she decides to act like everything is normal, and so does he.
When he starts being nicer than usual to her, resulting in an exhausting back and forth attitude, she puts distance between them until he can figure out his feelings. He ignores them, as Jax does.

Pomni lost count of the days since Jax abstracted. Trapped in her room, drowning in guilt and regret, she believes she's lost any chance to make things right. But one night, she discovers that fate has given her a second chance: a copy of Jax has appeared in the circus.
The problem is, this Jax hasn't changed. He's still cruel, arrogant, and determined to push her away. But Pomni has already seen inside his mind. She knows what he's hiding. And this time, she's not running.
