Summary
Dean has been taking suppressants for his secondary gender ever since he classified as a Little. The only person who had ever known he was anything other than a Neutral was his Alpha father, John, who had refused to allow any child of his to be a weak, pathetic sub-class. Especially the one he viewed as the lowest of the low.
Sam has left the bunker to search for a Little for himself and his boyfriends, Castiel and Gabriel, to fulfil their Caregiver needs, not knowing that his own brother is killing himself with medication to prevent himself from becoming the very thing he is searching for.

But Dean's 21 now, and his body suddenly rejects the suppressants in the middle of his work shift, causing him to black out.When he comes to again, the life he once knew is gone.

Castiel is a caregiver.
He fosters Littles who need a temporary place to call home and someone to act as their Guardian until they can be adopted into their forever home.
The fostering agency thinks Castiel would be a perfect fit for a new client of theirs, and once Cas hears Dean Harrison's story, he can't say no.
It's going to be a slow process, but Cas is sure he can help Dean accept who he is and help find him the perfect Caregiver to adopt him at the end of it.But maybe, just maybe, the perfect Caregiver for Dean was right here, all along.
