    Summary

    Sequel to Protocol: Web Shortfall.

With the Raft under control, Clint watches his son navigate out of the prison. He knew Peter was a ringleader for the vigilantes of New York, but he truly didn't know the real extent of his sons' reign over them. There's more to it, Clint knew that. He wanted to learn those codes, earn the right to stand by his son at night and call him a hero by his side.

That doesn't change when they make it off the prison, Peter's one of the last ones to get off the metal hell as the aircraft carried them off into the distance, his sons laughter piercing through the air like thunder. Wakanda was an entirely different area, a whole new ballpark to navigate and memorize. Clint is busy trying to keep Steve from suffocating his son for his illegal heroism at his young age - the hypocrite - and also keeping his son happy.

Then an aircraft touches down in a field; the minute the back hatch opens Peter's jumping out of the window on the third floor to get there, desperation in his eyes as three people walk out. It was weird, hearing Peter call Matt Murdock his father and tackling a girl to shroud her in his love.

He really had missed so much of his son's life, Clint had to fix that.

They locked him away at fifteen.

    They called him a murderer.
    They called him a monster.
They never once called him innocent.

At fifteen, Peter Parker still believed heroes were supposed to save people.

He didn’t know they could be the ones to destroy you.

Falsely accused of a crime he didn’t commit, abandoned by the people he trusted most, and buried in a prison meant for monsters, Peter lost four years of his life to a lie.

Four years later, the truth finally surfaces.

And now the Avengers have to face the one thing they never prepared for—

The consequences of what they did to their own.

    Summary

“Robbed of a mother’s love at birth
    left to drown in blood.
he was to die beneath her corpse.
Meant to rot in a cesspit of despair,
born to die as a waste of air.

Raised as a child one shorn of fate
    in a fit of rage
    he, knows a violent destiny
will await, only life by sword shall reign.” The weirwood tree sang in a haunting voice.

Arthur Dayne looked at the babe asleep in Eddard Stark’s arms, then to Elia and his sister. He turned to Oswell Whent, who, was the only other person besides him in the godswood whose jaw hadn’t dropped at the very real chance the Gods had just spoken to them.

“Fuck you Rhaeger!” The Sword of the Morning screamed. “Fuck your prophecies, Fuck the Old Gods and fuck whatever they have planned for this boy!”

Lyanna Stark died far from home, giving birth to a child born of rape and the madness of prophecy. By all rights the babe should have joined her in death.

But this child will struggle. He will contend. He will endure, for he is one who defies fate.

His name is Jon Stark, and he is a dragon raised by wolves.

    Summary

Satin felt the Lord Commander’s eyes following him as he worked. It was not an unfamiliar feeling, a man’s eyes on him. But it always felt different when Jon watched him. His eyes did not leer or ogle him with greedy heat. They simply watched. There was something inscrutable to those grey eyes – an intensity that was not hunger, a warmth that was not heat, an aloofness that was not cold. In the eyes of men Satin could read much; he knew in them lust, desire, anger, repulsion. But he could not read Jon Snow. It infuriated him. It intrigued him. It made him deeply, viscerally, uncomfortable.

(A continuation of ASOIAF, told from Satin’s POV. Starting mid-ADWD and moving beyond. A JonSatin centric tale of love, duty, and devotion. Welcome to a very, very slow burn as they dance around each other, push and pull, offer and resist, and become far more to one another than they ever expected)
