    Roughly a year or two before Natsuki Subaru was summoned to another world, another boy finds himself in Lugunica. However, unlike Subaru, he lacks the ability to Return by Death. As this boy fights to justify his own existence, things that were once lost on him begin to become clear, and incredibly important relationships are formed, particularly with those in the Royal Capital's slums and the House of Karsten. Maybe, if one is willing to search, color could be found within a world seemingly devoid of it.
