Summary
Standing over a valley and looking down at the forest below, Starscream lets the silence float around him as his optics sweep across the scene. In this uninhabited patch of land far away from any pesky interference, only the Earth’s paltry moon acts as his witness, waiting for his soon-to-be aerial show. Idly scanning his system’s readings, they tell him that the atmospheric conditions are just right.
It’s going to be a favourable fight.
Smirk disappearing beneath a series of transformative metal and seams, Starscream’s alt-mode envelops him as he takes to the skies. His engines rip through the peace with delight. However, through the satisfaction of flight, Starscream reminds himself to be vigilant. It’s an unspoken thing, this little rendezvous, so he can’t be certain if he’ll be accompanied tonight. If he were to hedge his bets, he’ll say there’s a slightly more-than-likely chance. It’s around that time of the quartex, after all. Even without though, a break outside of that dreadful hell-soaked ship is all fine and good. Starscream would take that without complaint.
But considering that things aboard the Nemesis have been rather testy lately…
Well, a mech can hope.

Summary
“Well, you see, my lord; what would you say is the driving force of your magnificent cause? The thing that keeps a Decepticon’s spark warm even in the coldest of nights?”
Megatron lets out a cackle, the answer so simple, it comes forth without command. “Hatred! For the Autobots!”
A nano-klik passes.
“And for complete control of Cybertron and the great wide galaxy! Everybody knows that!” Megatron continues.
Shockwave nods in approval. “Of course. However, from what you have described, it appears that that very source of hatred is no longer sufficient in keeping the armies satisfactorily rallied. It’s deathly unfortunate, but not every mech can be as noble and focused as you, my lord. After all these millennia, something new must be introduced to keep them on their pedes. And that’s where my latest invention comes into play.” Gesturing to the weapon held in Megatron’s grasp, Shockwave announces his achievement with a flourish.
“Introducing, the Love-botimiser 9000!”

Alejandro wags his fingers in her face, shaking his head in mock disappointment. “Ah ah ah. That’s simply not true! For you see, there is a way to win this game!”
Heather raises a brow. “Which is?”
“To win the heart of the most troublesome man I’ve come to know.” Alejandro declares, his eyes shining with determination as if what he said made a lick of sense.
…what the hell does that have to do with farming?
Alejandro pulls up the list of dinky townies, scrolling down until he reaches the end. The cursor hovers over the little sprite icon, clicking to open up a character page for village idiot #42 or whatever. The relationship metre sits at three little red hearts, but that’s not what Heather’s focusing on.
That icon image looks…familiar.
Heather stares at that bored pixelated face. There’s something about it that just itches at the back of her mind, trying to dredge up something forgotten like a long lost shoe lodged in mud. The more she stares, the stronger the feeling gets. She lifts up her sunglasses, her eyes squinting in suspicion. It’s only when she glances at the character’s name does it all hit her.
